Overview
Whether is a clothing recommendation app that uses your local weather to suggest what to wear. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and what is never collected.
Location
Whether requests access to your device location while the app is in use. Your location is used solely to fetch current weather conditions for your area. It is never stored on our servers, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or tracking.
Weather Data
Weather data is fetched from Apple WeatherKit. Your location coordinates are sent to Apple's servers to retrieve weather information. Apple's own privacy policy governs that request. Whether does not store or log weather data on its own servers.
Clothing Recommendations
Clothing items are fetched from our database based on current weather conditions. No personal information is sent with these requests — only anonymous weather parameters (temperature, humidity, conditions) are used to query results.
Notifications
If you enable morning notifications, these are scheduled entirely on your device using iOS local notifications. No data is transmitted to our servers to deliver notifications.
Saved Outfits
Outfits you save are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. They are not uploaded to any server.
Purchase Links
Tapping a garment's purchase link opens Amazon.com in your browser. Whether participates in the Amazon Associates program and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. Amazon's own privacy policy applies once you leave the app.
No Accounts, No Tracking
Whether does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information. We do not use advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking.
Children
Whether does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
